First of three BG tests for getting the right tone... two to follow tomorrow!

    thanks, Eric! looks good, and I'm looking forward to seeing all three.

    comments/requests:

    • can you make a darker and more watercolor-ish (less chalky, more subdued texture) one - we want the characters not to compete with the backgrounds.

    • more little wave shapes in the distance
