Ellen and Rusty came over and we commenced coloring.
A few thousand drawings to color. 18 minutes per drawing...aiming to get that down to 10 minutes per drawing. It's not paintbucket-style coloring - each image is like its own painting.
Need to figure out how to handle tracebacks - lots of boiling on today's test. Still image? Re-draw the tracebacks more precisely? Animate only the line? only the color? Dot, dot, dot...
keep line art tracebacks, use only one color still, adding a "deep color" layer. change color incrementally as needed for successive drawings in movement.
